They essentially picked Asante Samuel in the 6th round this year's draft and didn't damage their cap that much. Sounds like a pretty good move to me.

Great move. The Falcons struggle against top tier passing teams because they didnt have an answer at CB for inside receivers. Now they have Asante and Grimes on the outside and can move Robinson to sure up the inside. Also, can now use remaining picks to focus on OL, TE, and DL. Basically stole a time pro bowler from the eagles. Essentially gave up nothing.

I am still trying to figure out how this happened. We gave up a 7th round draft pick for essentially a shut down corner. Either I am dreaming or this is to good to be true.
Who in the world would not take this offer. On top of that he restructured his contract which shows me he wanted to come to ATL.

I love this move, Grimes is not that great of a CB. To be bad we coudln't have gotten finnegan(spelling) from the titans. Imagine those two with robinson in the secondary. Hard hitters all around. People would think twice about coming across the middle.
