Figured since Laremy Tunsil is a big UGA target too...

  • I would post this here. This is a feature me and a couple of other guys are doing on a weekly basis with the top remaining bama prospects, but seeing that Tunsil is probably UGAs biggest target and he is leaning to UGA right now I will post it here also. Hope you guys like it, we dont get paid for this but we like doing it.

Very nice breakdown. Thank you for the post. With that being said, there is just one minor correction that needs to be made to your post: You guys don't lead for Tunsil and won't sign him on NSD.

Ha, I knew that it was coming and it was only just a matter of time. Just my opinion bud, nothing more. Its def an interesting race between the two teams. Laremy seems level headed and will make the best decision for himself.

PS: I also said in the feature and my original post on the Dawg board that UGA leads for Tunsil.

  • So you think he is currently a UGA lean but will eventually sign with Bama? Just a hunch?

How do you currently feel about Bama's chances with Alvin Kamara? Sounds like Bama is in good shape with him at the time.

I feel alot more comfortable about Kamara than I do about Tunsil. Tunsil seems to really like the campus and the staff at UGA. I feel like the success Bama OL will have on draft day will possibly be an eye opener and may make him put Bama on top. Thats just what I am feeling. To be honest if UGA lands Foster, Kamara, and Tunsil then that is an amazing close to a recruiting cycle

Thanks for posting. I think the player breakdown is very well thought out. The predicitions I would expect and will respectfully disagree.

I completely understand. Its a really tough recruiting battle with both sides feeling good about landing him. Wouldnt be surprised either way.

  • From a dawg fan thank you. I feel like you guys will get Kamara, but Tunsil is UGA bound and the draft won't change that. We even got the worst OL of all time, Bean Anderson, drafted. Tunsil knows he has first round potential at LT no matter where he goes, but he will play earlier at UGA

Yeah I can see your point here. I will say this though, guy has a really good chance to play early at bama too. Lost Starting RT in DJ Fluker, starting LG in Warmack, starting Center in Barrett Jones. The only help we have coming in on the RT spot is a Juco Transfer in Leon Brown. That could easily be fixed by moving him to guard and putting Tunsil at RT until Cyrus K. goes pro next year. Both schools offer a very good chance at early playing time.

Hey, now, Anderson was perfectly semi-adequate; at least he was once the 1st quarter was over.

  • Prediction**** Alabama and the reason I am saying this is because I think our recent success and the draft this year will make him go over the edge for Bama. UGA is probably leading right now because he loves the staff and REALLY loves the campus and the fans are 100% on him about coming. In the end when the line needs to be signed Laremy is a smart kid and knows his NFL future would be far more advanced with BAMA. Bama 60% right now and will go up closer to signing day.

Explain this part: "Laremy is a smart kid and knows his NFL future would be far more advanced with BAMA"

Why would it be far more advanced? Bc that's a load of bs homerism if you ask me.

Man, I am a homer. Im a fan not a professional on this. Ofcourse I will believe that Tunsil would be best served coming to Bama. Im not here even bashing UGA I actually said I think UGA leads and it wont surprise me if he goes to UGA.

Dont get me wrong UGA puts guys in the league too but Bama has put alot of OL in the leage the past few years too.
    Andre Smith
    James Carpenter
with 3 guys going possibly this year. Im not blasting dude Im just a regular fan just like you.

Also I am from Pelham where you at in Bham?

I know your not asking me but UGA runs the Pro -I just like Bama does. Yes Bama has put out some good linemen recently and will continue but if the goal is the NFL then UGA is putting them in just as much. Bean, Cordy, and Ben Jones all went to the NFL last year.

Currently Burnette, Theus, Kolton (hasn't played but consistently told he is our best OL) and I would say Gates are all NFL bound.
