Ha I just asked about this. You can delete my new thread if you want. Thanks!! Great job as always. Really enjoying you guys hard work!!
G, reading your breakdown just re-emphasizes my earlier post- we did some things well but missed on SEVERAL key opportunities to really put them away. Murray played pretty well overall, IMO, and he had a few key drops (Figgins in the flat, Charles over the middle on the pic, and Troupe on a key 3rd down play). I think Orson had more drops in that game than the other three combined. Glad he got them all out Saturday (hopefully :).
One thing that bothers me a bit is the play of Ben Jones. He just does not look that sharp, and according to your breakdown, has missed several blocks. I really like the kid and I think he plays with max effort and has a heart of gold, but he really needs to start playing like the All SEC performer we know and he's touted to be. JMHO.
Gentry, thanks for this update every week. I need to txt Shannon T and tell him you need a raise!
I'm curious what you thought about the play of 64 and 79 this game. 64 looked like he was manhandled most of the game and 79....well, I'll just say it hasn't been the best start for him this season. Just wondering if you saw things differently.
The o-line really needs to step up this next week. Hopefully they can get healthy, but Glenn,Jones and Anderson must take control of that line. Yes we need Young, and at least 2 jucos to play right away. We should be gd then.
