pretty sure it had to do with the clipping/chop blocking going on.

I didn't see it at the time, but Grantham basically just said afterwards that he's going to stick up for his players (I'll have exact quote soon) -- "I love my players and I'm going to support my players."
James Franklin said, "I went to find Coach Richt and didn't find him, so I found one of his assistant coaches and it didn't go well. We're not going to sit back and take it from anyone."

That game had been chippy for a while and Vandy got away with quite a few holds tonight that I saw. Williams was one of the ones in the middle of it and it looked like the Vandy sideline, including Franklin, was jawing at the UGA players most of the 4th.
I am not too surprised that happened and it also doesn't bother me. Anyone crying about Grantham's "behavior" needs to remember this is football, a simulation of war, not needlepoint.
