Seen Brian Burgdorf 1989, from Cedartown, GA..went to play for ALA 1993 Outback bowl MVP, then got in trouble. Myron Pace from Cedartown in late 80's, very good in football and basketball, then got in trouble also.

The best player I saw was back in the late 70's. Walter Kennebrew who played for West Rome and led them to 2 state championships. If i remember, he had some crazy per yard average his senior year of over 10 yards a carry! He was 6'4" and weighed 225#. He played several years for the Cleveland Browns. This guy was a 2 time state champion wrestler. I was a wrestler as well and got to know him well. His senior year he wrestled a 400# wrestler from Walker High School. He picked him up and cradled him while standing and put him on the mat to pin him. I was amazed at his strength and athleticism!
