It's in the contract for this years Chick-fil-a kickoff game, we have to rep Nike's uniforms.

The uniforms did not have a single thing to do with the fact that we got handled by Bama or lost to a Florida team that was better than we were. Those loses were due to a lack of strength, preparation, motivation, and execution on the field, not any particular color or pattern........................

True, the new uniforms might be a gimick when considered from the outside, but there is no denying that for whatever reason these kids go nuts over them. IMO, if it excites the players and motivates them to play harder, faster and stronger than by all means go for it. As adults, we might not like the fact that it takes unis to get these kids to reach their full potential, but in the end, these are 18 to 22 year old kids we're taking about. Just my opinion though.

More people need to realize this is the case. The uniforms have NOTHING to do with the coaches or players wanting to wear them. We are REQUIRED to wear them under the terms of the contract for playing in this game. It doesn't matter who likes them and who doesn't, we have to wear them.

The guys seem to be fired up and that's awesome, maybe they can channel that energy around 8:00 pm on September 3rd.........................................(after having all spring and summer to get as strong as possible, conditioning to ensure that they can play hard for four quarters, practice for great technique in all aspects of the game, and two or more weeks to put in good game plans, hopefully for our first two games)!!

I'm tired about people acting like we fail in different unis. When UGA loses, it's because of the play on the field. Think about the stigma associated with the "blackout" - and then remember that UGA was 2-1 in those unis, including a Sugar Bowl victory.
With that said, those black helmets iin jax were hideous and I am near certain that Nike is gonna make us wear some bullshit... like the one below -
