I wonder how much the new hire will help. It cant hurt having one of Conn's old buddies on the staff now. If he keeps this thing open and we can somehow have a great year then it could get interesting. But there is a long long ways to go.

Rusty, Im just curious.. You say Priester is still committed but hearing from other schools. Does this mean he is still committed for the time being b/c if other schools offer he will entertain them or is he solid to Uga?

Haha. Been saying it allllll along, as long as the UGA coaches are recruiting a kid hard, I will believe that we have a legit shot to land a kid.

Do I think Conn pushes RN to Bama? Absolutely. Our staff has asked a Grayson player or two to do things Conn wasn't comfortable with. I think everything has been ironed out between the 2 parties (we have a preferred walk on coming in this year from Grayson and we just hired Conn's former assistant.), but it isn't like our staff helped themselves with Conn after previous recruits from Grayson. But is is a huge plus for us that CMR is a man of faith, Conn is like minded and appreciates that.
