Jenkins Announcement Timing?

  • It is interesting that jenkins is announcing the same night as Bama plays in the MNC. Is there something to this? Are they looking to make Bama's night ever greater? Are they thinking they will not have to face Bama coaches that night. I just find it interesting that they picked the 9th of all nights.

  • I would not call Bama a lock yet there been rumors of Smart and the Jenkins family not getting along and UGA has come on very strong even though is a Bama lean would not count UGA out remember Malcolm Mitchell .

  • Not to bring up any other sites on this board but I wouldnt read to much into the date that they are doing it.. According to them they were requested to do it on the 9th instead of the 10th because it is being televised on Fox (*** TOS works for Fox ).
    He may pick Bama but the date has nothing to do with his decision. Its just a chance to squeeze out a few more viewers leading up to the championship game.
