According to my reliable source, Die Hard Dawg does indeed have some inside scoop. However, he cannot release it until such time as his outside sources confirm it's safe to disseminate the inside information that will inevitably impact all of us caught up in the middle of the outside and the inside. In all seriousness, I did just leave the facilites and as you can imagine the atmosphere is a sour one. I'm sure everything will be fine, but it is soooo frustrating. Heads are hanging a little low. And it happens every year.

I'm not about to try and subjectively dissect the situation. Goodness knows I've tried enough times in the past to ascertain I haven't a clue about what to do and/or why this continues to happen at UGA. I did envision, fair or not to the man himself, Greg McGairy gaining a handle on our recurrent off-season headaches even if Richt could not.

As fans and alumni, we know better than anyone how strict the disciplinary and academic standards are at Georgia. But perception is always reality. And the perception of our program is not a good one. Every time it starts to improve, Spring comes around and dumps a truck load of pollen on our program and the failed PR machine behind it. It makes me want to rip my hair out.

In a season with so much promise, I still believe special things are going too happen in the Fall. But how long can we hold on if this crap continues to occur?
