Per multiple sources, he's still mulling opportunity from Florida. Odds are he stays, but that's not definite yet.

Smart still employed by Alabama, will be on recruiting duty in state of Georgia tomorrow for Crimson Tide.

I am not sure why he would leave
He is set at Bama with no reason to lose his job. He has an absurd amount of talent at his disposal. He has no connection to UF over Bama.
Plus, do we know that Muschamp won't want to run his D more than Saban wants to?

Do not underestimate Smart's importance in Alabama's success of late. Saban makes the gameplan on Sundays, but Smart makes all the calls on Saturday, and Saban wouldn't have thrown $750K at Kirby if he didn't like the way he did it. Muschamp surely views it the same way.
Not saying Kirby is leaving (I actually would guess right now that he'll wind up staying), but it makes sense on several levels.
He'd have an absurd amount of talent at Florida too, and be working in basically the same defense. Smart and Muschamp are very close friends, and five years with Nick Saban is a LOOOOOOOONG time ... That said, the money will have to be there. And I think that is what is not known right now, thus the delay. I think Muschamp wants to nail down an offensive coordinator first.
