Crack cocaine is one drug of abuse that just wears the heart out very early.
Truly a sad occurrence for her family and fans.

Soldiers dying and this have no correlation my man. This is a thread about Whitney Houston passing... Respect that fact regardless of what happened for her to pass. No one made a thread about soldiers dying so if you want attention for that make a thread for that.

Dude did you no Whitney? Were you there when she allegedly smoked crack? You don't have to be remorseful, but why would you belittle her LIFE in that manner? Yes she had some problems but she never tried to hurt any one she was a very accomplished artist and nice person. Show some respect, the lady just lost her life!!!

Calm down Ben. You responded to meansonny as if you knew her personally. Bottom line is that her death is being put out in a higher status just because of her celebrity status. People in America need to quit idolizing celebrities.

Hey Ben, since you know her personally, I'd like to offer my condolences to you personally and just keep praying bc that's the only thing that'll get you through something like this. I just sang her songs and grew up being one of her many background singers while listening to her music. Young black women such as myself looked at Whitney as an inspiration and to see her fall down like this was a real life tragedy.

She died at 48 years old. I presume because of drugs?
You say that she never tried to hurt anyone.
Well... You knew her. Are you hurting right now?
LOTS of people loved her. And she consistently let those fans and family down.
She welcomed her wild side. I never heard her apologize for it.
It's why she and Bobby were together for so long.
Can you (as someone who knew her) disagree? She embraced the lifestyle.
That lifestyle hurt people.
I think she was a wonderful person who CONSISTENTLY let herself, her family, and her fans down.
That's what living hard means. Taking the short term satisfaction.
Life and family be damned.
I won't apologize for saying that I'm surprised she lived as long as she did.
Because I never heard her apologize for welcoming drugs into her life (and they WERE a welcome part of her life).
I'm sorry for your loss. I'm sorry for her daughter and Bobby's loss.
I value life. But I also recognize when a lifestyle is willing to shortchange that life for short term gains. It's truly sad.
