*** Branden Smith has not been included at all on this week's depth chart released today by UGA. The cornerback/punt returner suffered a concussion -- his second in roughly three weeks -- during the first half of Saturday's 29-27 defeat at Colorado. Mark Richt said Sunday he probably wouldn't play in the upcoming game against Tennessee.

*** Smith and Sanders Commings were the first two cornerbacks on the field at Colorado. Commings is still listed as a starter this week ahead of Vance Cuff. Brandon Boykin (followed by Jordan Love) is the top name at the other cornerback spot.

*** UGA is listing Carlton Thomas and Caleb King as co-starters at tailback entering Tennessee week. Thomas started the Colorado game and carried seven times for 11 yards, while King led the Bulldogs with 100 yards on only 12 carries, an average of 8.3 yards. Washaun Ealey carried only once at Colorado (for 15 yards) and is currently third on the depth chart.

*** Fred Menzenmaier is still listed as the top fullback though Shaun Chapas (ankle) returned to the starting lineup against the Buffaloes after being limited by injury since Sept. 11.

*** Kris Durham is still listed as the co-starter at split end with Tavarres King. Durham was knocked out of the Colorado game by a neck injury suffered the previous week.

*** Bacarri Rambo and Jakar Hamilton remain the starters at each safety position.

*** Without Smith's inclusion, Logan Gray becomes the top punt returner ahead of Carlton Thomas.
