The Junkyard

IMO Friday night lights > remember the titans. The coach's know-it-all, hectoring 6 year old daughter - who wanted to blitz no matter the down and distance - completely ruins the movie. Plus, the actual football scenes are awkwardly shot and lack authenticity. Some great scenes but there are some atrocious moments in that movie as well. FNL much more solid all the way through.

I think we can all agree that Blue Chips was left off for very good reason.

Why has nobody mentioned The Longest Yard? Classic Burt Reynolds.

Friday Night Lights being on there and Remember the Titans not is just a joke.

Also, +1 to whoever said Major League. Easily one of the tops of all time.

Honestly I think Hoosers is a little overrated.

The Sandlot - I mean really, what is a list of greatest sports movies without this one??!

I mentioned Tin cup. Have tons of love for Sandlot too. Who can forget when Benny pickeled The Beast?
