Your statement is wrong on so many levels, where do I begin? UGA was throwing 9 out of 10 plays in the 1st quarter, UGA had a 10-0 lead despite the dropped passes and missed FG. LSU's defense spent the majority of it's time on the field while ours held LSU's offense to 3 and outs, and got plenty of rest on the bench. UGA started trying to pound the nations #2 defense on the ground with a 5'7", 170 lb RB on 1st and 2nd down, putting the offense in 3rd and long, where LSU's defense stopped them short and caused UGA to start punting the football, and putting UGA's defense right back on the field. This caused a major momentum change, which started the LSU comeback. The rest, as they say, is now history. The short is that with our RB situation, we were playing to our strength in the first quarter by putting the game in AM's hands. Once MR/Bobo took it out of his hands, we played to our weakness, which played into a great defenses (LSU) hands.
