OT: Thomas the tank engine

  • Guys,

    Not sure how many of you have kids, but this weekend I took my 4-year old to Chattanooga to see Thomas the Tank Engine at the railway yard there. My brother and his kids live there, and we all went together.

    Deal is called A Day out with Thomas or something like that, and it was awesome.

    The ride on Thomas itself was OK, but the whole setup was cool and my son, niece (6) and nephew (3) loved every single second of it. Not sure where you guys live or if it comes near you, but it was a great weekend my son and I won't forget. According to the schedule, Thomas will be in Cordale, Ga., in October. Plan to take my son again and see if the setup there is as cool as Chattanooga one was.

    Anyway, sorry for the OT thread but thought it might come in handy for some dads out there.

  • Been there with my little one and they loved it. Also took my kids on that Polar Express train ride they do in November and December. They really liked that and it was about 3 hr ride there to the "North Pole" on back.
