Question about Questions

I am thouroughly enjoying the site here at 24/7 and enjoy this board as much as the site. That being said I don't understand why everytime someone asks a question about a recruit or committment they are blasted and treated as someone who is either ignorant or anti-uga. I love the differance between this board and the many others I have been on but it seems there are some on here who don't want anyone to raise any type of questions that could be taken as negative. I hate cmr bashing and cmb bashing as much as anyone else but why can't we just treat each other with respect and not be hostile towards people who may not see things the way we do. Sometimes we have to agree to disagree and go on. Love my dawgs and love this site. Go Dawgs!

I actually think the debates are good. For the most part people stay civil, unlike most large sites. The disagreeing is great, just need to avoid the "you're an idiot" and "how dumb can you get" type posts. Those get you nowhere.

These arguements are gonna happen because of 4 reasons
1. We are men
2. We have something called testosterone
3. We know what's best for our Dawgs
4. We are never wrong.

I've actually seen less of this on here than I did on Scout.com's Dawg Post. That's one of the reasons I left that site for 24/7, after being a member there for 5 years. I love this site more than any other UGA recruiting site I've seen.

To me it's not about positive or negative as much as it is substantive, intelligent discussion where people are encouraged to voice opinions. Everyone doesn't have to agree on all topics to make that happen. In fact, it's probably better if they don't, so long as folks are respectful of each other.
In this way, I've been thrilled with the friendly tone the Junkyard has enjoyed to this point and I hope and believe that it will continue.

I guess what we should all try and remember is that everybody here is fan of the dawgs, I didn't pay money and sign up for a site so I could go there and just randomly bash the team of the site I paid money to be a member of. So the discussions and disagreements don't bother me at all, I just continue to make my point and maintain a level of respect I would like to be shown. It's the Golden Rule, can't go wrong with that. GO DAWGS!!
