total joke. he steered lorenzo washington to bama and has tried to do that with every kid bama was considering from his school.

I believe in that same article he said that Nkemdiche thought Clemsons defense was a better fit for him than LSU's.

I would really like to hear his explanation on that. I have always thought Nkemdiche was a much better fit for a 4-3 defense. Which both LSU, and Clemson run. UGA, and Bama run a 3-4 for the most part. I really wanted UGA to land Nkemdiche still obviously. Yet he is not the greatest fit for our defense. I think Jordan Jenkins will have a bigger impact at UGA than Nkemdiche would of had. I assume Nkemdiche would of been a DE in the 3-4. Essentially a DT. He is much better off as a 4-3 DE IMO.

Im glad that Nkemdiche chose a non SEC school but I really thought LSU was his best choice. I can only hope he didnt make his decison based solely off of where his friends went to school at. I can understand that to a point.

I really wonder how much these kids think about things like the 3-4, and the 4-3, and how well they fit into a certain defense. Like Bellamy for instance. I think he would be better off as a 3-4 OLB. As opposed to a 4-3 DE. Same with Mustaffa.

I'm guessing he wants to be the big fish in a little pond.

I think this is a *much* bigger factor for Nkemdiche than we realize. He's been living in a foreign country for a few years; his parents are back home in Africa (Nigeria?); he's been staying at different people's houses for a couple years. I think the "family" aspect is *much* *MORE* important for him than for the typical kid. He's not the kid who needs to get away to learn some responsibility.

that's like saying he didn't go to UGA because there are too many corinthian columns on north campus. give me a $%^&$#@ break. i wish big rob well, but we'll be just fine without him.
