here's my problem, after watching that interview with foster and matthews, it seems that matthews just might be more committed to uga than foster is to bama. but, you certainly don't want to leave anything to chance considering how good bama is at recruiting and the boys' guarantee to play together wherever. So, my thinking is, offer Mario alford....now, ...matthews is then more of a solid commit to uga with a cousin on the team, ....foster holds true to their promise and follows matthews now that he's certainly not leaving, and the dawgs are rockin tits in 2013. alford, matthews, and foster. and shoot, with the defense youre building with matthews, wiggins, and foster, nkemdiche might start thinkin...
I like what we're hearing about Nkemdiche, Foster, and others. It makes me feel we're in consideration, which is an ok place to be, especially considering where our program was two years ago. I'm encouraged with the overall direction of the program. Grantham looks like he is the real deal in several ways: X's and O's, recruiting, and just plain passion. He's building a defense that is getting closer and closer to the 'Bama's and LSU's of the world. Say what you will about Richt and his technical ability as a coach, he still has his considerable strengths as a leader of young men with a conspicuous integrity that adds stability to the program and attracts kids who are not just talented athletically but are damn good kids, to boot. This is a very big year for us, as I think we all sense we may be at a tipping point if we see success on the field and in recruiting this upcoming year. No doubt we were helped immensely this past year by a relatively soft schedule, but we stabilized the program and built a legitimate defense with potential. We have a similar schedule this year, and we can be sure that our rivals are well-aware that they do not want to awaken a program which has always had the potential to be not just good, but dominant - the state is bursting with elite high school talent. We're likely to put up ten wins or more next year, favorable schedule or not, and that gives us real momentum toward snaring the lion's share of this state's elite talent. It's going to be an interesting ride, and we have a long way to go.
