A harder look at the schedule at spring break. This is the hardest schedule to start the season that Richt will have faced. We are looking at 3 top 10 teams out of the first 4 games. Nobody in the country even comes close to this. Most won't face 3 top 20 teams the entire season.

If I have it listed as toss up, I think the spread will be +/- a 5 point spread either way. I see us starting 3-1, first two games scare me. This is the year we have to start fast instead of slow. If we start 2-0, we are going to make a MNC run. I think we win all 8 'we are supposed to'. I'm really looking towards the Fla game (I see a win), the final sign after a win that the series has swung back in our favor. The streak is dead.

We lose to Clemson, beat USC and LSU (welcome back Mett) and beat Fla. What say you?

  • Coach Dooley used to say, you make your greatest improvement between game 1 and game 2

The opener is going to be crazy. Our defense is going to be tested big time

If our offense holds up its end of the deal and we get anything out of the defense in producing turnovers and getting off the field on 3rd down, we can win the 1st 2.

LSU will not be as strong but Mett coming in with something to prove will be a huge challenge.

Art Schlichter's cellmates and Mo Clarett's rugby team believe Ohio State always does things honestly.....

  • I say 10-2 is a realistic expectation. Anything less will have me disappointed and anything more will have me pleasantly surprised. I think we lose the first two.

We have four game that should be considered hard games. I would think anything less than 10-2 would be a big disappointment. We should beat CU and LSU, we get USC at home and then UF is the biggest toss up. If our defense can be good, they dont need to be great, we should be back in ATL. We get USC at home and UF has to go to Columbia. The schedules are in USC's favor but we can take the control out of their hands in week 2 if we can beat them.

Yep and most teams also improve the most between year one and two otherwise known as the magical year.

I forgot to add the SECCG on the schedule.
