  • Kind of odd that there will be 2 more practices after G-Day. Doesn't G-Day usually represent the final spring practice period?

  • i thought so, too, but i wonder if it might be a good thing with all the new players. lots of times, kids really don't understand what they need to work on until they screw up in a game-type situation. that was true for me at least. given all the new guys we've got out there learning the system, i could really see the benefit of those last two practices to work on mental stuff and technique. they could really get after it with a new sense of purpose after the scrimmage.

  • I really like the 2 practices after G-Day time for correction & coaching plus it gives some of our injured players like Marshall more time to heal to hopefully be full participitants in the practices
