Georgia's offensive line actually exited spring with more questions than it had entering spring. We wade through the uncertainty as our spring synopsis series rolls on.

we have more depth then we have had in a long time.bottom line is we want more production from the line hence all the movement. by clemson time they should be fine. GO DAWGS!
I think Theus winds up at LT, Gates battles Lee for a G spot, while Beard and Ward fight it out for the RT spot with the loser the primary backup for both spots.
Don't believe Austin Long is a tackle candidate-believe they have decided he is best at guard. If he is healthy, believe he will compete with Lee for one spot while Chris Burnette is a lock for the other starting guard.
The most thoughtful and insightful analysis I have read in many moons..Thanks Gentry for the enjoyable read!
Yeah this season should brings us a few desirable problems we haven't had in a long time more potential starting talent than there is room for on the field. With our qb and backs and skill position players it should be quite interesting
The depth on this OL makes me smile. I don't recall ever having it under Richt. Will Friend is doing work. Competition galore makes for great players. No one promised a thing. I love it.
David Andrews is the real deal folks. Go back and watch his tape last year compared to Ben Jones senior year. Andrews does a better job with the downfield second level blocking. He was not as strong at the point of attack but I bet he will be this year. He is a keeper. And remember, Jones started in the NFL last year at guard.
Andrews will too one day.
Art Schlichter's cellmates and Mo Clarett's rugby team believe Ohio State always does things honestly.....
It wasnt long ago that we were woeful on the right side of the line. some darned good dawgs, for sure. but they werent up to the challenge against the nfl ready SEC. both Davis' and Bean Anderson had some games to forget in their time starting on the offensive line.
Right now, we have at least 5 who are capable of establishing a run game in the SEC. and we may get to find out that another 3 or 4 can contribute without any dropoff.
You win in this league by running the football. it will be interesting to see how things shake out with such a front-loaded schedule.
