During Monday's Pro Day, Charles was asked about working with former NFL star Cris Carter in Florida and what advice he has received from Carter ...
"'You have the chance to set your family for life,'" Charles said Carter told him. "'Just go out there and take advantage of that. They're paying you a lot of money to help your mom out. Don't be on the streets. Don't drink. This is your one opportunity. This is a job. Treat it like a job.'"

I don't think it will affect his draft status much, if any.

I agree, I think teams will value his body of work more than one dumb incident. I highly doubt blowing a 0.095 would leave Orson impaired to the point that he couldn't safely drive...the guy should be able to handle his liquor given his size. It sounds like him creeping along trying to find an address is what caught our lovely ACCPD officer's attention, not swerving or anything like that.
Orson was leader on and OFF the field without the slightest hint of any behavioral/attitude/work ethic/criminal issues his entire three years at UGA.
Like Bernie Mac said, "some of y'all F'ed up too!"
BTW, has anyone saw this R&B article on what our lovely tax dollars in Athens goes towards?

disagree hobnail and coley... NFL teams put a premium on character and maturity. This will definitely hurt him. Any member of a pro team in a city hurts the image of their team when their players get arrested for any reason. If this happened to Orson last year and he has had time to prove he has matured from mistakes is one thing. But leading up to the draft and preparing to be hired you go and get a dui doesn't show maturity on his part.
Chris Carter said "don't drink" for a reason!

Having a DUI doesn't mean you don't have character or maturity. There are plenty of high character people that have gotten a DUI.
Let's not pretend to be a bunch of saints. Hypocrisy smells bad.
