Love how they pick us to be the team from the sec to ruin it for another sec team in the SECCG. Sarcasm clearly...were always picked as the screw up of the sec.

Wow, they are really reaching on some of those. I can see USC and Oklahoma with Oregon and Michigan as long shots, but I do not see it happening from the ACC. I live in Austin and Texas is far from a contender at this point. I think Athlon forgot that Texas had a losing record last year and have the same quarterback that was waaaayyyy less than average. They say he had a pretty good spring, but I was not impressed with them last year and neither were some of my Texas friends.

Get used to it Dawg fans. This is just the beginning of what we will hear all year. "UGA isn't really that good", "Georgia is a fraud", "they don't play anybody", etc. The media will continue to beat the drum that the SEC East is down because UGA is the favorite to win it. Let's be honest, the only way to shut everybody up, is to win 'em all. So let's win 'em all, 14-0. We've got the team to do it. It's time we shake off this "second tier SEC team" crap. UGA should be one of the dominant programs in college football, and it's time to establish that!
