I would call the OL a question mark but not a weak point just yet.
Kendarious Gates has been reliable and just keeps getting better. Thues is coming in under as big of expectations as any offensive lineman could have on him. After a year of ineligability Kolton Houston is doing nothing but surprise and impress the coaching staff. Dallas Lee and Chris Burnette are both competent guards. David Andres was rated in the top five centers as a recruit. The OL could like something like this:
LT: Kendarious Gates
LG: Koulton Houston
C: David Andrews
RG: Dallas Lee/Chris Burnette
RT: John Theus
If Kendarious Gates continues his progression as expected, Koulton Houston lives up to the praise that he's been showered with since the spring, competition between Lee and Burnette yeilds a solid guard, John Theus forfills even a large part of the expectation on him, and David Andrews can hold down the center the Georgia OL will be very impressive.
Will all of that happen? Will none of that happen? It's impossible to tell right now but my point is that the UGA OL could be dominate this year and in all likelyhood will at least be decent. It's a question mark, not a weakness (yet).
Life's tough, but it is tougher if you're stupid.
If theus starts burnette will be the center.
RG- Dallas Lee
I think this gets the best 5 on the field. If this isn't the lineup opening day it will be come Tennessee game.
