I'm letting my Scout membership expire in April. No need to have it with what's offered here. I'm another happy 247 customer.

I went on Scout today.. Some poor guy asked a simple question and so many posters tried to make the guy look like an idiot..

the ONLY reason i still visit scout is for Chad and the chat room (which has been dead lately) - i am finding myself visting here more often

it is so negative right now - god forbid you mispell something

someone had the balls to call out BH the other day - you dont do that - he is one of the most respected posters on any board - i tried to come to his defense - but morons will be morons

The negativity was a factor for me...

With topics like "The Georgia Coaches are the worst recruiters in the SEC.", I just could not stand it any longer. Too many windy know-it-alls that really know nothing. This is the free board. The do have some nice features on their pay site. I was a member for number of years.

The main factor is I liked what I saw over here.

i like hanging out over here. i don't post a lot, but i read every day several times. i got to spend some time on the sidelines with Rusty at several of Calhoun's games over the last few years. Great Guy. Really like 247.

i am not a huge poster either - i have been a member of scout for 9yrs and only have about 500 post - and i have went to that ste every day, multiple times a day

i am enjoying my time here - especially seeing some names i am familiar with

Same here, have been at Scout since 96-97. After my subscription runs out in 2 weeks, i'll be here. A lot more civility and not nearly as much negative tones. I love Chad's updates, but i remember when Rusty was on staff there also and you get pretty much the same thing here as you do there. There are way too many posters over there that have ruined it for me.
