Again, as I posted earlier, only 1 class in the Richt era had more 4 and 5 star players (2002). These ranking systems penalize teams with large classes because of the average. If you get rid of 10 of the 3 star players, we may have a higher or be around the same, but don't meet our needs. You can't take those team rankings at face value, you have to look at who you actually got in the class and how those players met your needs. The coaches board looks drastically different than what the recruiting guru board looks like, just as draft boards for NFL GMs often look incredibly different than the mock drafts that guys like kiper and mcshay put out. Everyone can hit on the no brainer prospects, but there are a ton of quality players that add value. Look at it on a case by case basis, don't paint this broad brush because of one figure that is skewed due to class size.

I don't understand why the naysayers are freakin' out. UGA never won a MNC when signing a majority of the state's top 10. Why not try NOT signing the majority of the top 10? Think outside the box, haterz!
