UGA belongs with LSU/Bama at the top of the SEC

  • The SEC record of the SEC teams UGA has played = 16-32

The SEC record of the SEC teams Bama has played = 17-31

The SEC record of the SEC teams LSU has played = 15-25
after Ole Miss next week = 15-31

This BS that UGA's success is because of playing an easy schedule is just total BS.

  • That is eye opening.

  • South Carolina's record is 21-30.

I think the common denominator is that you guys got off easy this year by not playing Arkansas. South Carolina, LSU and Alabama all have played or will be playing Arkansas. That's the reason that most say your SEC schedule was easier compared to others.

You also didn't have a tough road game. Auburn and South Carolina (your two toughest SEC opponents) were both home games for you.

  • We saw flashes of a legit running game against Florida.

The Dawgs weren't going to be denied on the ground last night.

If we have legitimately impoved on the OL, and can run the ball when NFL defensive talent is expecting us to... Then I agree.

Good post doc, you can only beat who you play and we have taken care of business, with only one exception (that matters in the SEC race). We seem to get better each week and the defense continues to do well. The offense does seem to be clicking and Aaron was very sharp yesterday. Let's keep it rolling Dawgs!

But if people use this data as you did, it would be logical reasoning. That stuff doesn't work well when combined with expert reasoning and random and selective stats.

And logical reasoning is not allowed on the interwebz. Its in the guidebook! swirl

  • You mean we belong on that rung just below them. You leave out the fact we have two losses, Bama just one and that is to undefeated LSU.

Good research on this though, knew that argument was full of crap. Take out each other and their schedule isn't much more difficult than our's.

I'm not so sure that UGA is not on the same rung. This is not the same team as week 1 & 2.

UGA's defense is equal to both Bama & LSU now. Faster than Bama IMHO, but not quite as big. LSU doesn't have the linebacker play like UGA.

Offense much better than Bama (all they got is Richardson). And it is better than LSU's but not by as big a margin.

All healthy and playing like yesterday, UGA can definitely play with either one and I believe can win. Not saying they would win, but can win.
