UGA tackle of the season..

just interested to see what you guys think is the most important/exciting/whatever tackle of the year for the dawgs. I'd have to give it to Shawn Williams almost ripping Solomon Patton's head off and breaking his arm in the UF game for the stop on 4th and inches. That was great to see. He will be missed.

I have a tie. The Jarvis tackle/strip in the UF game and then the Richard samual fake punt tackle in the Mizzo game. We don't make that tackle it could be a different season.

Yeah those were both great. It's funny how only a handful of tackles can have such a tremendous impact on the tone and outcome of a season.

The first one I thought of was Samuels fake punt tackle. If we don't make that tackle, you are right, the season is completely different.

Tree standing Lacy up at goal line. Lacy had momentum and Tree was standing still, and still stood him up. I've never seen anything like it.

Mine is Jarvis's tackle/strip near our goal line at the end of the FL game. Our D played great all game, but on the Lizards' last drive was obviously gassed. If Jarvis doesn't make that play FL likely scores a TD and had a good chance to make the 2-point conversion to tie the game. At that point I would have not liked our chances since we would have lost momentum while FL was gaining it.
The win was the signature win we needed after the SC loss, and from there we played our best ball of the season.

he DID have a critical tackle against florida on that tip interception near our goalline. saved a 95ish yard touchdown return probably.
