Not that UGA was a favorite to land Pike, but this makes me wonder how serious the Bulldogs truly are about signing a QB in the 2012 class with all that in-state QB talent waiting in 2013.

Never really thought we had a serious shot at this guy anyway, but after reading the spring qb recap article it seems like we are stocked enough at qb. Agree that i'd rather use scholly at another spot given the crunch.

Fine that we're out, but I'd rather Pike not wind up somewhere in SEC. What's the consensus on where he is going? Hopefully it is not the Aubs or Vollies.

Comments on the article seem to be leaning toward Auburn. I remember reading here that he was going there for like 3 days after spending a few hours in Athens, so he probably likes it. But Pike looks to be a pocket-passer, pro-style kind of guy, not a great fit for Gusball, right?
